Academic News Alert!
In 2016 when this plan was developed. The 2018 goal was set for Reading and Math proficiency. No need to be alarmed because we have the staff and students to do this but EVERYTHING we do in our classrooms must be intentional and goal driven.
Here is a quick look at the goals.
Based upon data analysis our focus will be upon the following outcomes:
1. Increase the Math 3-5 proficiency rate to 63.50 by the end of the 2017-18 School Year
2. Increase the Reading 3-5 proficiency rate to 67.70 by the end of the 2017-18 School Year
So as you know our reality at the end of 2016-2017 was:
Math 3-5 proficiency rate: 46.6
Reading 3-5 proficiency rate: 57.5
As a school with the science (72.0)addtion to the formula our school proficiemcy is: 55%
Today, I am asking for a new commitment from each of you. This will look like a couple of after-school meetings with me to look at your classroom plans "GROWING FORWARD".
