Ordering Caps & Gowns

It's not too late. Caps and Gowns and other graduation materials are ordered through Herff Jones. Our school contact for Herff Jones is Mr. Holick.

He will be on campus on March 17th during all lunches to assist students with orders.

Petrakovitz Wins District MVP

Junior Guard Nikki Petrakovitz was named District 15-6A Girls Most Valuable Player for Basketball this year. Read more in the Conroe Courier here:

Save the date!

Junior Jumpstart is March 25th from 6:30 - 8:30 pm at Grand Oaks High School.

The district is hosting round robin sessions for current juniors on topics like financial aid, the admission process and essay writing. Sessions will also include top majors such as engineering, medical fields, computer science, business, criminal justice, fine arts and education. There will be military sessions and technical/trade school presentations as well.

Parent participation is recommended.

College Fair

There will be a mini College Fair during all lunches Tuesday, March 24th in the library on Senior campus. We will have over 20 college reps here to give you information about their schools and answer any questions you may have. Stop by when you finish eating!

TAFE Winners

ORHS students represented well at this year's Texas Association of Future Educators (TAFE) state competition. They won two blue ribbons for their bulletin boards and a silver place ribbon for second place.


The Liberty Belles competed in the Trendsetters Competition on February 1st.

The officers were awarded a Sweepstakes for receiving Division 1 ratings in all three divisions performed.

They were awarded Choreography Awards in Jazz, Kick and Lyrical and won awards for technical merit and precision merit. They also earned Best in Category in the Kick division and were named Best in Class.

MDDTX State Dance Contest

The Liberty Belles competed in the MDDTX State Competition on February 29th. The officers were awarded a Sweepstakes for receiving Division 1 ratings in three routines and a Super Sweepstakes by earning a 92 or more from each judge on every routine.

They were also awarded Best in Class Jazz and Kick.

The Dance Troupe earned 1st place in the Large Ensemble category.

CONGRATULATIONS to all who participated!!

Spirit of St. Jude Nominee

Oak Ridge High School was named FINALIST for their support of St. Jude Children's Hospital.


Shattered Lives is a two day program that will give our Junior and Senior students a glimpse into the world of drunk driving and the devastation it leaves behind.

If you plan to participate, Junior and Senior students with their parents must attend the MANDATORY meeting on Thursday, March 19th at 6:30 pm in the Cafeteria on Senior Campus.

Only Juniors and Seniors with their parents can participate.
