Exam Exemptions
Parents will receive exemption notices via Infinite Campus this year. Make sure your email is correct in Infinite Campus prior to exemptions on December 7.
At 11:00 AM on Wednesday, Dec. 9, parent will be able to see their student's exemption status and sign off on exemptions. In addition, they will be able to indicate whether or not their student can leave at the end of the exam period.
Exam Exemption Eligibility
GENERAL EXEMPTION POLICY
The student has an overall grade ≥70 on notification day.
A student may exempt 1 exam using a general exemption.
Students who use a GENERAL EXEMPTION can not exempt more than one exam.
ACADEMIC EXEMPTION POLICY
The student has an overall grade of ≥95 in a given class.
If the student is enrolled in 7 classes then he/she may choose to exempt up to 3 final exams on academics.
If the student is enrolled in 6 (or fewer) classes because he/she has a DE "travel" period or 1st or 7th period OPT OUT, then he/she may choose to exempt up to 2 final exams on academics.
Please remember:
Final exams in Advanced Placement courses cannot be exempted.
A student may not exempt one of the state-required End of Course Exams (Algebra I, Accelerated Algebra I/Geometry A, Biology, U.S.History, and American Lit./Comp.). Additionally, a student enrolled in an EOC course may NOT exempt a first semester (teacher) exam.

WHS COUNSELING DEPARTMENT
PSAT: Rescheduled
The PSAT 8/9 and PSAT NMSQT are rescheduled for Tuesday, January 26.
Juniors and virtual students who were registered for the October test are automatically registered for the January test date. Juniors and virtual students who did not register for the October date can sign up to be placed on a waitlist in the event testing slots become available.
ATHLETIC TICKET SALES
This school year, all Fayette County high schools have a card & mobile payment only ticketing policy at all athletic events. Fans are able to purchase tickets online through Whitewater's GoFan page or by presenting a debit/credit card (or mobile payment option) at the ticket gate. The new ticket gate setup promotes social distancing while limiting person-to-person contact and the physical exchange of cash.
Fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets online prior to reaching the facility.
Students can meet with their teachers for help sessions before or after school. Students should contact the teacher to coordinate date and time.
