Message from the PTO President
Happy Friday! There is a LOT of new/updated information in today's blast - so please READ until the end!
This Sunday marks the beginning of Catholic Schools Week, to be kicked off with 9:30 a.m. mass. Please bring your child in their winter school uniform to celebrate with Bishop Loverde, the STM Youth Choir and our STM Faculty, and they will be granted a Dress Down Pass (good for Tuesday the 27th) being handed out at the mass. After mass, swing by the STM Book Fair being held in the library. It will be open from 10:30 a.m. - 12 noon on Sunday and then from 8:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. throughout the week. On Tuesday evening, make plans to come out to Champps at Pentagon Row between 4 p.m. - 11 p.m. for an STM Sponsorship Night. Thank you to Kevin Songster, an STM Graduate, current Kindergarten Parent and Managing Partner at Champps for arranging to have 15% of evening sales donated to our STM PTO!!
In case this note is as far as you get in today's newsletter - be sure to remember that Wednesday is Staff Appreciation Day and Thursday is Teacher Appreciation Day. Our wonderful Teacher Appreciation Committee will be putting together a fantastic meal for our Teachers & Staff, but be sure to have your child send a little note of appreciation for their teacher as well. Catholic Schools Week ends on Friday with Parent Appreciation Day. What do we get? REPORT CARDS!! Also - be sure to send in your child with a baggie of 25 (silver) coins to be used as place markers in the All-School Bingo game. Read below for more info.

57 Days Until the STM Spring Auction: A SPACE ODYSSEY!!!
The STM Annual Spring Auction will take place on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 6:30pm in Burke Hall. Preparations are now underway and we welcome your support! There are many jobs and roles available-for those that can give a little or a lot.
Please visit the Auction page on the STM Website to print a copy of the donation letter and form. http://www.stmschool.org/pto/pto-events/auction/index.aspx. When you visit your favorite place of business, take a moment to ask if they'd be willing to contribute to STM's largest fundraiser of the year.
Make plans to join your friends and the STM community to celebrate the PTO's annual Odyssey of the Spring Auction. Gather with friends, enjoy fellowship and place your bids at this year's Space Odyssey themed bash. It promises to be a great night, for a great cause.
Thanks in advance for your continued support and generosity!
