Week 2 - Oceans!
We can't wait to see you next week for Red, White, & Blue!
REMINDER - TIGER PAW is CLOSED June 29th- July 3!
Hello from Ms. Kristin (right) and Ms. Caroline (left)
We have had so much fun during our Ocean week! We discussed different types of animals we can find in the ocean; similarities and differences between land and sea animals; and even our own experiences visiting the ocean. I loved hearing their different stories! We also dove a little deeper and discussed how we can help keep the ocean clean and the animals safe by learning about oil spills. The students really grasped the concept. Our summer is off to a great start! Here are some questions you can ask your student at home to extend their learning:
"What are some animals that live in the ocean?"
"Which ocean animal is your favorite? Why?"
"Why is it important to keep the ocean clean?"
"What happens to the ocean during an oil spill? What happens to the animals?"Please contact me if you have any questions at kristinmorris@ozarktigers.org
Have a great weekend and we will see you next week,
Ms. Kristin
