CCA Illness Protocols and Practices

Clear Creek Amana Community School District COVID-19 and illness protocols and practices have been implemented to assist in promoting the safety and wellness of our students, staff, and community. Thank you for being a responsible partner in helping us maintain these protocols and practices.

During the current COVID situation, our rules for returning to school are different. Please review the symptoms for when students/staff should stay home.

New Plan for 2020-21 “Snow Days” and Virtual Learning

CCA CSD is taking a different approach to “snow days” in 2020-21. If school cannot be held on-site due to inclement weather, we will transition for that day to virtual online learning for ALL students. Rather than our traditional “snow days”, these days will now be considered “virtual learning days”.

Using this approach will prevent the district from having to add make-up days at the end of the year.

Virtual learning days for 11/23 & 11/24 will follow these same guidelines.

Review of Device Repairs and Fees

Last July, the CCA School Board approved new procedures for tech fees and repairs.

The CCA High School brings a 1940s style radio program presentation with 2 main mysteries, commercial messages and a reading of "Who's on First?" and a 90 second rendition of A Christmas Carol. All 11 student actors play a variety of characters as well as 2 people providing live sound effects. The whole show runs 2 hours with intermission. The CCA Radio Show is directed by Tom Milligan & Deb Kennedy.

There will be 200 general admission tickets available for purchase. Link for details
