High School Principal of the Year!
Congratulations to Scottsburg High School Principal Ric Manns for being the Indiana Association of School Principal's District 12 High School Principal of the Year! Mr. Manns shows a high level of caring and compassion towards our students while still being fair and firm! His years of experience and commitment to our community has had a positive impact on countless young adults! Congratulations on a well deserved award!

Eliza Mount Nominated for IndyStar Sports Award
Senior Eliza Mount is one of three state-wide finalists for the IndyStar Sports Academic Achievement Award. She is the first athlete from Scottsburg to be nominated for these awards.
The IndyStar Sports Awards recognizes and honors the top athletic accomplishments in Indiana high school sports. This event is hosted by the IndyStar and will take place at a “red carpet” event May 5, 2019 at Clowes Memorial Hall of Butler University. The show features various awards, contests, and a Q&A with celebrity guest, Danica Patrick.
During her time at Scottsburg High School, Mount received 12 varsity letters across five sports – cross country, golf, soccer, swimming, and tennis. She was the captain of the school’s math, and science, she was the president of the Student Council and a National Honor Society member. She ranks first in her class academically. She was also recently honored as one of the IndyStar’s “Top 40 Academic All-Stars” and is an IHSAA Cato Scholarship winner.
Another 30 year old school record goes down tonight! 4:22.9 is the new 4x400 relay record!! Mati Busick, Kady Clancy, Lauren Jeffries & Jaylah Mays set the new mark! The old record of 4:23.2 was set in 1989 by Susie Stephens, Carrie Thompson, Carla Westmoreland & Tammy Ponder!

Congratulations to Nicholas Bartoch! He has been named to the 2018-19 IHSSCA Academic All-State team!

Athletes may come unaccompanied by a parent as long as they have the History and Consent pages completed and signed by a parent or guardian. Physical forms are available in the athletic department.
