Summer Reading Opportunities
Summer 2021 - Parkway Southwest Middle Library
Summer Reading!
Dear Parents,
Our summer reading incentive is Bingo and we'd love everyone to participate! Your child can access the Bingo card here or below. Once they have completed all the activities, return it to school the first week back or take a picture and email it to Mrs. Burger. Prizes will be awarded in August.
In addition, all summer long the SWM teachers will be "taking over" the @swmlibrary Instagram account and posting what they are reading. We will be using the tags #swmreads and #parkwayreads. I encourage your child to do the same and tag @swmlibrary. Let's create a huge reading and literacy presence this summer on social media at SWM and GROW as READERS together!
Mrs. Burger

MASL - Mark Twain and Truman Nominees

These awards encourage students in grades one through twelve to explore new literary genres, to recognize excellence in writing and illustrating, and to experience the joy of literature.
MASL’s Mark Twain and Truman Readers Awards represent the best current youth literature available to students in grades 4-6 and grades 6-8 respectively. Find the list of this year's nominees at the button below.
