Netball is known as New Zealand’s popular women’s sport. Netball is a seven-a-side game, based on running, jumping, throwing and catching. Goals are scored at either end of the court, when the ball is thrown through an elevated hoop. Each goal is worth one point. Top-level games are 60 minutes long, played in four quarters of 15 minutes. ( Palenski 3). That is the rules and objectives of netball.
