Media News
Young 5's and Kindergarten students have been getting familiar with using a computer and how to use a mouse. We have been working on our mouse skills in computer lab by visiting Tux Paint, Starfall, Bookflix and MotherGoose.com websites. Students have been practicing nursery rhymes, as well as letter and number recognition in media class.
First grade students have been practicing logging on the computers with their new log in information. Our focus the last couple weeks has been on studying the elements of fairy tales. Students have practiced computer skills using Book Flix, Starfall, Abyca and Tux Paint. First graders have also practiced their typing and drawing skills using Storymaker on Abyca.
The educational websites Book Flix, Abyca.com, Starfall and MotherGoose.com can all be found on Information Place. Students may visit this website at home to get more practice with all the skills they have been learning in media class!
