Quick Biography of Anne Frank
Anne Frank was a creative young girl. She may have been naughty at times but that was who she was. Anne thought that being yourself was the best you could do and you shouldn't live up to other people's expectations. She did exactly that when her, her family,the Van Daan's, and Mr. Düsseldorf went into hiding. She wasn't afraid of who she was. Anne wanted to show her personality and didn't care what people thought. That is who Anne was, a creative and open-minded girl.
We must have courage when faced with obstacles.
Throughout The Diary of Anne Frank courage is shown. The theme, we must show courage when faced with obstacles is shown throughout The Diary of Anne Frank. Anne shows lots of courage. When all of the Frank's were heading to the secret annex Anne was scared, but when they go into the annex "Anne was jumping around and cheering in the annex" (373-374). Even thought the nazis were af war Jews, Anne still had courage that they would survive and not get caught. Another example of courage shown in they play is when Miep and Mr. Kraler helped the Frank's, Van Daan's, and Mr. Dussel. Miep and Mr. Kraler courage because "If anyone helping or hiding Jews would be arrested or sent to a concentration camp" (373). Mien and Mr. Kraler show courage by helping people even though they could get killed. The final example of courage in The Diary of Anne Frank is when they ar found by the Green Police. They play reads, "She is no longer a child, but a woman with courage to meet whatever lies ahead" (433). This shows courage to face what comes next. These are examples of how we need courage when faced with obstacles.
We must have faith
The theme, we must have faith is shown throughout The Diary if Anne Frank. An example is when the families celebrate Hannakah. "The families still believed they could celebrate Hannakah like a normal family"(401). This shoes faith because the families were celebrating a special holiday that invoked love and care, and they believed they could have that. Another example of faith is when the families are in the annex and a their stole the money box. Mr. Frank shows faith by believing that they would still survive if their money box got stolen . The giant example of faith is when everyone was running out of food. Even when they were running out out of food everyone still kept it together(418). Those are examples of how faith is used in The Diary of Anne Frank.
Hope is always needed in tough times
The theme, hope is always needed in tough times is shown throughout The Diary of Anne Frank. An example is when all of the people living in the annex think that they won't be caught(401). Anne would write in her diary that they haven't gotten caught and they will make it. Another example is when Anne shows hope by believing that everything will change for the good(433(. One last example is Mr. Frank having a lot of hope. When everyone is panicking, Mr. Frank always calms them down(430). Those are examples of how hole is needed in The Diary of Anne Frank.
Pencil
In the Diary of Anne Frank, a pencil represents Anne beauces she is a deep writer, her diary is why we have the story The Diary of Anne Frank and lots of t Men she mentions she wants to be a writer when she gets older. One example is when Anne writes in her diary," will I ever be able to write well? I want to so much." That is why a pencil represents Anne.
