A guide on networks
The three networks
The bus network
This network goes from computer to computer, passing the data. A disadvantage of this is that when you add a lot of computers, the network starts to get slower and slower which is bad for office areas, as they might need the data quickly.
The star network
This network is the best network by far as it is fast and will not break down when one computer is disconnected. This doesn't happen as each of the computers is connected directly to the server.
The ring network
This network travels around in a ring making it fast . This network has a disadvantage as, when one computer breaks down the ENTIRE system stops working which is bad as if it breaks down, the office will stop working.
What is a network?
A network is simply a lot of data shared between two or more computers. Networks are used in offices to make it easier to share data between each computer
