IMPORTANT SCHOOL INFORMATION
Parent/Family Member Information
When we do things day after day a lot of times we get comfortable with our routine and things become second nature. For our teachers and staff the safety of our students, your child(ren), is on the forefront of our mind daily. To keep us in tune with our procedures we must practice and adjust things on a regular basis. The same must be true for our parents and visitors.
Over the past year there have been changes to policies for student and school safety. Several changes are because the world has changed and we must adjust...other changes have and are being made because of law's and state mandates that went into effect last year. As our school and district moves to ensure we are following the law and mandates put into place, please know that any changes or adjustments in procedure will be passed along to you in our newsletters and social media platforms.
In the meantime, I ask that you please pay attention to these three items for our students safety:
- Do not speed on Wakefield - community members have made BGPD aware that cars are speeding down Wakefield and in front of the school
- ALL visitors or volunteers are required to check in at the front office between the hours of 7:00AM-3:00PM - Drivers License is required
- Car tags are visible to staff during afternoon drop off until students are loaded in the car.
