Kelvin Doe
Teen activist
Early Life
Kelvin Doe was born on October 26, 1996 in Sierra Lione, in a town called Freetown. He is the youngest of 5 children and was born to a single mother who lived off of food stamps. He was interested in finding spare parts that would help fix problems where he lived. "They call me DJ focus because I believe if you focus, you can do an invention perfectly," He stated in a video on youtube.
Activism
At the age of eleven years old, Kelvin made many inventions out of common junk yard trash. These inventions include items such as an FM radio, and a home made battery. At the age of fourteen he became the youngest visiting practitioner to be able to go to Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T)

Hero
My definition of a hero is a person who is trying to change the ways of society or trying to help society not just for themselves but also for others. I think that Kelvin would be recognized as a hero because he has inspired many people across the world, He has lectured to undergraduate engineering students at Harvard college, and he still plans on creating a windmill to help his town.
