new discoveries in the jury room!
the murder knife is not so unique!
Reporting live from the court - Giti Kimchi
the main evidence of the prosecution lost it's value when jury number 8 pulled out from his pocket a similar knife to the one that was used to kill the father.
as we know, an argue has started in the jury room about the reliability of the evidence which the prosecution claims was unique and belonged to the son of the murdered man. after jury no. 8 pulled out of his pocket the same looking knife, he proved the knife was not so unique and someone else could buy a knife like this if he like to. jury no. 8 also said that that he bought the knife in a shop two blocks from the defendant house.
jury no. 8 with the identity knives. hes knife on the left, the boys knife on the right.
my personal impressions and thoughts:
I was surprised to find out about the other knife because now its not so clear that the boy killed his father, its possible that someone else bought the same knife at the same place jury no.8 bought it - which was 2 blocks from the boys home - and killed the father. like me, there where other jury members that began to change their minds.
I was exited to find out that jury no. 8 will not easily send the boy to his death but instead try he's best to find out the truth - even if is means to fight with his team.
