Welcome to our new Assistant Principal, Mrs. Truc-Lan Vu
Mrs. Truc-Lan Vu lives in Warren with her husband, Matt, 6-month old son, Andrew, and their two cats, Queso and Newton. She grew up in Rockaway, NJ with her parents and older sister.
Prior to coming to Edison, she taught third and fourth grades in Summit and Bernardsville. She completed graduate programs at The College of New Jersey and Montclair State University.
As a classroom teacher, she loved being able to connect with students and content through rich picture books. She is passionate about educating the whole child and supporting educators to help them do the same. She loves integrating technology and supporting students, families, and educators navigate technology to enhance learning.
In her free time, Mrs. Vu enjoys cooking, board games, and has recently learned to sew. She plays a number of instruments including piano and violin and sings with Harmonium Choral Society. She loves spending time with her family and friends over a great meal or a movie.
Mrs. Vu is looking forward to joining the Washington community. She is excited to support students, families, and staff in the coming school year.
