Ethics of Mars Colonization
By: Chase Eden
Can humans live/colonize Mars, even when exposed to Radiation?
- Mars average surface temperature is -55 C (-67 F), and the poles get as low as -153 C (243 F)
-It temperature mostly has to do with its thin atmosphere, which is so thin it cant retain heat (not to mention breathe)
- Although people can take in Radiation you can die if you take in too much!

Is it ethical to conceive or birth a child in space or on Mars?
-Doctors don't know yet if humans can get pregnant and give birth due to the lower gravity on Mars (its got 38 percent of Earths gravity) not to mention how babies would fare under the excess of radiation outside the Earths atmosphere.
-If a baby was born in space or on Mars and the parent was born on earth then wherever the parent was a citizen of a country then the baby is a citizen of it too.
