On September 1, we will welcome back students for the 2021-2022 school year. We are pleased that our students will be back in school on the normal five-days-a-week schedule this year. CCPS continues to monitor the most recent COVID data and conditions in Cecil County and will make an announcement next Wednesday regarding the potential for mask use to begin the school year.


As you will see below, we have partnered with Christiana Care at Union Hospital and the Cecil County Health Department to offer a COVID-19 clinic for eligible students and we are planning to hold additional clinics at other locations in the county.


We were excited to welcome our new teachers to CCPS today and are looking forward to welcoming back all staff next Wednesday. In addition, on Monday, August 30, we will celebrate the ribbon cutting of the new Chesapeake City Elementary. The ceremony begins at 3:00 PM and the public is invited to attend.

COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic at Bohemia Manor High for CCPS Students

Wednesday, Aug. 25th, 4-6pm

Chesapeake City, MD

CCPS is partnering with the Cecil County Health Department and Christiana Care at Union Hospital to offer COVID-19 vaccines (Pfizer) to CCPS students ages 12 and older. This clinic will be held at Bohemia Manor High School but is open to all CCPS students who are eligible to receive the vaccine. Students under 18 will need a parent present to receive the vaccine. Registration must be completed to receive an appointment.
