SCENTsations April Newsletter in Honor of Stepahanie Arlt

Stephanie Arlt, Certified Consultant #300772

Our Scentsy Family now has it's very own angel guiding us along our journeys. On March 23, 2014 Stephanie Arlt lost her battle with cancer and lupus. She showed our team how to never let obstacles get in your way and to keep pushing away at your dreams. She sold Scentsy and supported this company right to the very end and I am proud to call her a forever member and angel of our team.

Biography

If there was ever a person who wanted to heal all the wrongs in the world, it was Stephanie Ann Arlt. She was an idealist who sought to bring harmony to those around her. Even though Stephanie was enthusiastic and generous, it was sometimes difficult for her to boast about her accomplishments. Stephanie had strong personal convictions, making it hard for her to relinquish those ideals she held dearest to herself. Despite her outer strengths and beliefs, Stephanie sometimes struggled in her efforts to see the world as completely positive. Stephanie's life motto was always to hope for the best and work hard towards that end, but be prepared for some of life's disappointments. This philosophy was a continual driving force in her life, but it did not extinguish the bright light that defined the dreamer in Stephanie, something that was always there and that she readily shared with everyone around her.

Stephanie was born on January 8, 1974 at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois. Her parents were Nancy LeSuer and John Triliegi. Stephanie was raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. As a youngster, Stephanie demonstrated an excellent vocabulary and command of language. She was a compassionate person, a quality that she would carry with her throughout her life. Even at a young age, Stephanie was sensitive to her parents’ moods and worked hard to please them and live up to their expectations.

Throughout her life, Stephanie showed a remarkable ability to mend relationships. This was true even with her siblings. Stephanie was caring, diplomatic and tolerant of the feelings of those around her. Stephanie was raised with three siblings. She had two brothers, Anthony and John, and one sister, Kristie. She was constantly invovled in activities with her brother, Anthony, they cared deeply for one another.

High school was a time for Stephanie to seek out knowledge. She enjoyed learning and had a natural interest in gathering information. Stephanie had a flair for the poetic and was very expressive and articulate, especially when it came to her writing. Stephanie took her education seriously. She graduated from Bonanza High School in 1992. She enjoyed some courses more than others, having favorite classes and teachers.

While those who did not know her well found Stephanie to be somewhat reserved until they got to know her, she was an authentic and devoted friend. Stephanie was a tranquil person, with an easygoing and open-minded attitude towards life. She presented a pleasant face to the outside world but concealed the pain and discomfort she felt over her own friends’ difficulties. Stephanie sought to achieve harmony with everyone and possessed the ability to mend conflicts and avoid interpersonal struggles. While growing up, some of her best friends were Jenny, Dena, and Stephanie. Later in life, she became friends with Marj and Tracy.

The desire for romance was always present in Stephanie's life. She succeeded in finding it on January 8, 2005, when Stephanie exchanged wedding vows with Michael Arlt at the Little White Wedding Chapel of Las Vegas, Nevada. Stephanie cared passionately for Michael. Her deep loyalty and a strong commitment to her vows brought a sense of completeness to their marriage.

Stephanie was a gentle person who held deep feelings for her children. She enjoyed having fun with her kids and was at times fiercely protective of them. Stephanie showed great empathy in her willingness to give every family member a voice in family decisions. She was blessed with four children, two sons, Thomas II and Brayden, and two daughters, Sam and Allison. They were also blessed with two grandchildren, Kingston and Leila.

Stephanie enjoyed her leisure time by taking part in various hobbies. Her favorite pursuits were Rodeo, Nails, and Scentsy. Stephanie was content to enjoy her hobbies alone but she was also willing to share her interests with others.

Stephanie enjoyed traveling and going away on vacations. Taking trips provided the chance for her to kick back and relax, to visit new places and see new things. Favorite vacations included her honeymoon which was a cruise to the Mexican Rivera and family trips to Disneyland.

Stephanie was a lover of animals and cherished her pets. One of Stephanie's favorites was Minnie, her Pappion. They were best friends for 14 years.

Stephanie passed away on March 23, 2014 at Las Vegas, Nevada. She fought long and hard against cancer and lupus. She is survived by her husband, Michael; her children, Smanatha, Thomas II, Brayden, and Allison; her grandson, Kingston; her mother, Nancy Napolitano; and her brother, Anthony Napolitano; .

Stephanie Ann Arlt was someone who was able to see the world as a good and honorable place. She viewed the people who inhabited it as essentially good. A person who tended to see the world in terms of black and white, Stephanie tried to focus on the good she saw, knowing that there were times she would have to compromise. She was selfless and deeply committed to all things positive and good. Stephanie was a person who would keep her eye on tomorrow and constantly held onto her dreams. She was capable of being mystical at times, and she could be the seer or shaman of a group. It was this exceptional insight and quiet reserve that became Stephanie's trademark qualities for all who knew her, and it was one of the many reasons why all who knew her loved Stephanie Ann Arlt.

Please reach out to the family and let them know that we are thinking about them and our Scentsy sister, Stephanie, during this difficult time. Condolences may be sent to 3310 W. Lone Mountain Road, North Las Vegas, NV 89031

On a more happy note....
