Admission
To be admitted to Texas A&M University, you must have taken:
4 Years of English
4 Years of Math(Algebra 1&2, Geometry, and a fourth course)
4 Years of Science (Two must come from Biology 1, Chemistry 1, or Physics 1)
2 years of the same foreign language.
Class Rank is important, too:
Automatic Admission to top 10%, of graduating class
Top 25% admitted with reading and math SAT score of 1300, composite ACT score of 30 with a 27 in English and Math

Academic Costs
The annual cost for tuition and fees(based on 15 semester hours) is $9,006, with $1,246 estimated for supplies.

Scholarships and AP Tests
One scholarship opportunity is the National Merit Scholarship, given to students who take the PSAT, qualify as National Merit Scholar Finalists, and select Texas A&M as their first choice institution. This award is $40,000 paid out over four years.

The AP credit policy varies according to class, while generally a score of 3 will merit 3 semester hours while a score of four or five will merit 6.
Other Information
The credit transfer policy works on a review basis, with credits from larger colleges accepted more easily than those from smaller schools.
