Important Registration Dates

March 3rd
: Registration materials will be passed out and discussed at Monrovia Middle School

March 4th: Registration materials will be passed out and discussed at Sparkman Middle School

March 10th and 11th: Parent meetings will be held in the S9 auditorium throughout the day. Letters will be mailed out assigning a time based on homerooms.

March 12th: Freshman night is an opportunity to learn about Sparkman 9, the different classes we offer, and tour the building. It will start at 6PM in the S9 gym.

August 3rd: Expo, schedules will be picked up at assigned times

August 5th: 1st day of school

Student Registration Information

Below you will find a button that links you to the information that will be presented to students when registration materials are passed out at the middle schools and in parent/guardian meetings. The parent/guardian meetings will provide you an opportunity to ask questions.

Freshman Night Presentation

Below you will find a button that links you to the information that will be presented on Freshman Night. Parents and students are welcome to attend Freshman Night to tour the building and find out information about electives and clubs.

Expunge Form

If your student took Algebra I in 8th grade and you feel they need to retake the class because they are missing the foundation, you will need to complete the expunge form. Please return this form with the course selection form at registration.

Madison County Academic Guide 2020-2021

You can find class descriptions and other valuable information in the Academic Guide. There will be many classes listed in the guide, but the only classes available at S9 are the ones listed on the blue course selection sheet.

Summer Reading

All Sparkman 9 students have required summer reading. English 9 students are required to read Fahrenheit 451. CP English 9 students are required to read To Kill a Mockingbird and Fahrenheit 451. Required reading should be completed before the first day of school.
