Block style
Block style formatting is where all lines of the text are aligned to the left margin, also none of the lines are indented. block style is commonly used with business, letters and memos.
Indented
Indented is where the first line of a paragraph is indented. A tool you can use to help you indent paragraphs is the tab key. Indent is commonly used when making reports.
Hanging Indent
With hanging indent all the lines are indented except the first line of the text,also the first line is flush with the left margin. You commonly use this with bibliographys.
