John Hancock
He was born on January 23, 1737. He was the first signer of the Declaration of Independence. This event was on July 4, 1776. The Continential Congress where also involved. He did this in Philidalphia. This is a very important event in history because we declaired we wanted independence. He was the very first signer of the Declaration Of Independence! He also told us we have the right to liberty, life and the pursuit of happiness. He deserves a big pat in the back for helping us gain our freedom!
FACTS:
He attended Harvard University, and earned his bachelors degree in 1754. He got married to the love of his life, Dorothy Quincy, on August 28, 1775. He was the president
