Bellville Elementary Newsletter
Thank you to everyone who helped make the beginning of the school year go so smoothly! It is hard to believe we are in the midst of week three!
Parents who bring your child(ren) to school in the morning, or whose child(ren) walk to school, elementary students are not to arrive before 7:20 in the morning. We do not have staff to watch your child, and they will not be allowed in the building until 7:20 a.m.
Parents who pick your child(ren) up from school, please make sure your child is secured in a seat belt or booster before you leave. An accident could happen anywhere, and we want to keep our precious cargo safe! It is also most helpful if you have your car sign on the passenger's side of your car.
If there is a change in pickup procedures for your child(ren), please call the office by 2:00 p.m. so Mrs. Bailey can get the message to your child's teacher.
On Friday, September 13th school will be dismissed at 1:00 p.m. due to the Bellville Fair. Your child should know his/her after school plans before they arrive at school. If they are doing something different at dismissal, they will need a signed note from a parent/guardian. Fair day is hectic, and we cannot promise we will be able to get messages out before dismissal.
If you are planning on parking at Bellville Elementary during the fair, PLEASE do not use our parking lots on Wednesday and Thursday until after 3:30, and Friday until after 2:00. Our main priority is student safety, and we need to make sure all buses and car riders get where they need to go before vehicles for fair parking.
We love our new playground and all of the equipment, but if your child wears dresses or skirts, please make sure they are wearing a pair of shorts underneath.
Nurse Carr requests you return Emergency Medical Plans as soon as possible if your child has any medical issues or allergies.
School Fees are $55 if paid by Monday, September 30th. If paid on October 1st, school fees increase to $65. If your child receives free lunch, you are exempt from school fees.
Thank you for your support, and for sharing your precious children with us!!
Thank you taxpayers and community members for our beautiful new playground! We love it, and there is so much for us to play on!
