Who is Thomas Edison?

  • Thomas Edison was born on February 11, 1847 in Milan, Ohio.
  • As a kid Thomas Edison was always in trouble, and taken out of school for day dreaming. After That Tom was home schooled.
  • He was an American inventor and businessman.
  • He died on October 18, 1931.

Jobs and hobbies!

  • Thomas liked to experiment and read. He spent his free time tinkering and experimenting.
  • His first job was as a news butch on a train, and he wrote his own news paper called, "The Harold".
  • At the age of 14 Thomas's hearing faded.
  • He often went from job to job traveling for more challenging work. He once lived in the western union then moved to New York City where he got a couple different jobs of his interest.
