Dear West Wing Parents,

We are excited to announce that we have been awarded an A+ School of Excellence site visit by the Arizona Educational Foundation! As you may already know we earned this prestigious award in 2017 and we have applied for our renewal. We will welcome a team of educators to West Wing School on Monday, November 29, and Tuesday, November 30 to validate all of the amazing teaching and learning that happens here each and every day!

We worked diligently last school year to write an extensive application that captured all of the extraordinary instructional practices, student learning, specialized programming, and most importantly our students' academic growth. We are so pleased to be awarded a site visit which will validate our work over the last five years.

Thank you in advance for all of your support and we hope to share the good news with our families and community very soon!

This Week's Field Trips!

Kindergarten had a blast at Tolmachoff Farms! We spent a week learning about farm animals, writing about the farm, and learning about how vegetables grow!

Fifth Grade went to the American Heritage Festival in Queen Creek where they learned all about the Revolutionary War!

Snack and Lunch Reminder:

Attention Parents and Students,

This is a reminder that fun dip, kool-aid powder/mix, and Mio are not allowed at school. These all have food dye in them that permanently stain our cafeteria tables. Please refrain from packing these items in your students' lunch. Thank you for your attention to this.

Mother Son Dance

Thank you PTSA for a great event!

West Wing Love our School Day

Tomorrow is the day that we are welcoming our volunteers to help us clean and beautify our campus. Thank you to the families that have signed up! We look forward to having you tomorrow. We will start at 8:00 am! We still have a few spots open, so if you're free we would love to have your help! Kids are welcome to help with their parents!
