Energy Poverty

Energy poverty is the lack of electricity. Scholastic has created a global awareness project with materials to help you launch discussions. These include teacher guides and student handouts. As we prepare to turn on air conditioners, 8 out of 10 people in sub-Saharan Africa have no access to electricity.
