Reptile Review
February 2023
Principal Update
Dear Reptile Families,
The year is flying by, and there are many exciting events happening at New River this month! Please make sure to check out the information below about our STEAM family nights, Sweetheart Dance, Field Day, and more exciting events!
There is also information included about our school-wide Reading Counts and Sunshine State Reader parties. These events reward students for reading and completing books, and help promote a love of reading. If your child reaches the highest Reading Counts point level for their grade, they will get to go on the Big Kahuna Water slide! These are fun events that your child won't want to miss out on. Please encourage them to start earning their points now!
Please also take a few minutes to complete our Annual Title I Parent survey. This information helps us plan forward for next year and we truly appreciate your input!
Have a wonderful week! Please reach out if you need anything.
Thank you,
Colleen Wilkinson
Principal
