Leonardo DiCaprio and Rikki-tikki
Two similar characters in action
Both are brave characters
Rikki-Tikki is brave because in his story, "all grown mongoose's job in life was to fight and eat snakes, so that's what I had to do." Leonardo DiCaprio is brave because in an interview with him he says, "Whether it’s going in and out of frozen rivers, or sleeping in animal carcasses, or what I ate on set," DiCaprio said. "[I was] enduring freezing cold and possible hypothermia constantly." For his movie the Revenant http://www.vanityfair.com/hollywood/2015/10/leonardo-dicaprio-the-revenant
Both are nice characters
Rikki-Tikki is nice because in his story it shows that he was being friendly and the family was saying that, "... because we've been nice to him, that's why." Leonardo DiCaprio is nice because in real life he went down to a restaurant and the person who was serving him was so excited and he noticed, she said that, "“And he did, left me double what his lunch cost and was on his way.” He also let the girl have a picture with him. http://simplyleonardodicaprio.com/visitors/encounters/erika-desocio
Both take chances
Rikki-Tikki takes chances in his story, in the story it says that, "... however wise or old they may be, care to follow a cobra into its hole." And that's what he did. Leo takes chances also in what he does,
“Part of the film was shot in the Canadian wilderness, where the cast was forced to battle the elements.” He took chances to do what he had to.
Both are strong
In Rikki-Tikki, Rikki is string because when he battles the snake he has to break their back and he does. Leo is strong because in his movie he had to carry something big. “It’s real and very heavy,” she said. “When it was wet, it weighed over 100 pounds. Leo was carrying that around…Only someone of his stature could have handled that.”http://www.telegraph.co.uk/film/the-revenant/horse-bear-real-fake-leonardo-dicaprio/
They are serious about what they do
Rikki-Tikki is serious about protecting his new family because he does everything to help his family. Leo is serious about his work because, “Set as union reps are blasting the production over safety concerns.” He did this for a movie so he could finish it.
They worked hard
Leo had worked hard for a movie,
"[I was] enduring freezing cold and possible hypothermia constantly.” He worked hard for his movie that was taking place in coldness. http://www.etonline.com/movies/174605_leonardo_dicaprio_says_he_slept_inside_a_dead_animal_for_the_revenant/ Rikki-Tikki worked hard because in the story it says, "... but as soon as Teddy was asleep, he went off." He worked even at night to help the family From the conflict.
