Curiosity, Creativity, Innovation
November & December!
Hard to believe it is already DECEMBER!
As usual, the Learning Commons was hopping. In November, students worked on Bat Research projects, reviewed Destiny lessons with all students, and so much MORE!
In December, the Hour of Code took over.
Mrs. Stevenson and Mrs. Clerkin
ClassDojo Winners (2nd nine weeks)!
Congratulations to Mrs. Mahoney's third grade class for having the most Dojo points!
Bat Research
While studying bats, students shared what they learned by creating Popplets and uploading their work into their SeeSaw accounts. Students also learned about bats through QR Code audio clips. They did a great job!

Hour of Code!
What is the Hour of Code?
The Hour of Code is a program that believes every student should have the opportunity to learn computer science. HOC helps nurture problem-solving skills, logic and creativity. By starting early, students will have a foundation for success in any 21st century career path. Also, by having the whole school participate, we are in the running for $10,000 to spend on technology.
Below are some of the different activities students completed.

About Us
Our goals are to:
- Get students excited about the library space and learning.
- Give students opportunities to work on engaging tasks.
- Provide spaces to work collaboratively, think critically, and creatively.
Also, to transition to a place where students DO stuff, not simply a place where students GET stuff.
