After Prom 2019 - Volunteers and donations are needed!
Parents/Guardians/Staff of PHSC Students, we need your support! The PHSC After Prom is just around the corner (Saturday, April 27 at 11:30 pm - 2:30 am in the PHSC commons/gym/field house)! This event provides a safe and fun environment for juniors and seniors after the Prom. NOTE: 11th & 12th grade students do NOT have to attend the prom to enjoy the After Prom event.
Students will enjoy inflatables (such as human fooseball, mechanical bull, laser tag, mechanical meltdown, obstacle course, etc.), photo booth, DJ, Wii games, driving simulator, card games, and more - along with food & drink (donated by area businesses and organizations), all of which is included in the admission ticket price.
And, to encourage the students to stay for the entire duration of the event, we'll be giving away great door prizes (gift cards, gift certificates, TV, etc.) throughout the night.
You can help by either donating your time (set-up, pick up food, serve food, monitor inflatables & other activities, help with prize table, clean up) or by donating gift cards, money, or other needed items.
All donations are tax deductible, to the extent allowed by law. Cash/check (payable to PHSC PTO) donations will be used to help pay for After Prom expenses. The gift cards will be used as door prizes. Gift Card donations, of any denomination, would be sincerely appreciated. Donations may be dropped off to the PHSC office anytime prior to the event (ideally no later than the Wednesday before After Prom).
Thank you for your support! Please click on the link below to sign up!

Seniors, what will you be doing after graduation?
Seniors who have decided their future plans, are invited to stop by the counseling office to pick up a pennant to fill out with their name and the name of the career, training, college or military branch that they will be attending. We will be displaying these pennants in our halls so that all of our PHSC family can congratulate them!
Scholarships
Seniors should be checking the scholarships list on Naviance regularly, as many local scholarships have been posted and have March deadlines! Questions about a scholarship applications? See Mrs. Asch in the Counseling Office.
Summer Opportunities
Summer is the perfect time for high school students to do a little resume building for their future college, scholarship, and job applications! College admissions counselors love to see their applicants continue their learning all summer long. We have been posting a variety of great summer programs and jobs for high school students on Naviance under the college page and then enrichment. We also have a bulletin board in the hallway outside of our office where we post summer job opportunities. Students may also find summer programs by going to https://www.studenteducationprograms.com/ohio/

PHSC presents Into The Woods
James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim take everyone's favorite storybook characters and bring them together for a timeless, yet relevant, piece... and a rare modern classic. The Tony Award-winning book and score are both enchanting and touching.
The story follows a Baker and his wife, who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King's Festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk. When the Baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of a Witch's curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse. Everyone's wish is granted, but the consequences of their actions return to haunt them later with disastrous results.
One of Sondheim's most popular works, Into the Woods is a musically sophisticated show with the opportunity to feature actors adept at dark comedy. Designers will especially enjoy highlighting the fantastical elements of this magical word.
Tickets are on sale now on the Pickerington High School Central Website in the box office.
