O'Neil's News

We had a memorable Spirit Week. It was an honor to celebrate our district's 50th anniversary with our students, staff, and community. Our students enjoyed the dress up days with many participating.

We would like to thank the high school students and staff for hosting the district-wide pep assembly on Friday. Our students enjoyed the opportunity to play games and cheer with the high school students. We also honored the award winning poems from our poetry contest at the assembly. We would like to congratulate the following grade level winners:

  • Dylan Boone - 3rd Grade
  • Gabby Hall - 4th Grade
  • Jalen Krall - 5th Grade
  • Maggie Page - 6th Grade

Thank you to all of the students who entered the contest. The poems were all well written, creative, and demonstrated pride for our school. The overall winner had their poem read aloud at the pep assembly.

Throughout the entire week our students demonstrated positive citizenship, pride in their school and community, and support for their peers. I feel so fortunate to be part of the CUES family. We have a special group of students and staff.

Congratulations to the Columbia School District on its 50th Anniversary!

Go Eagles!
