Policy Review: SNACK POLICY

Please refer to our Parent/Guardian/Student Handbook (link above). On page 32, you will find our snack policy, which is also presented below for you. As students reach the higher grades, they pack their own items, this is where we need your partnership. We have directed staff to confiscate any/all candy items. Great reminder to never take anything from others as students may be allergic to certain ingredients!

Safety - Threats, Not a Joke

Passing along an article, great piece to review as a family! These 'jokes' aren't taken lightly and have to be reported/investigated.

***13 year old former Renaissance Charter student makes online threat and now she’s facing 2nd degree felony charges.

In case you missed it...

Our Diversity, Equity, and Belonging (DEB) committee, chaired by Mr. D. Capote, has been working hard on our newsletter initiative, spearheaded by Ms. Leger. MYP students have been meeting during their advisory period to organize and write articles on a variety of topics throughout the month of November. Our goal with this initiative is driven by the goals of the DEB committee: to promote academic excellence, diversity, and inclusivity on our campus.

Below is the link to where our newsletter will be publishing its articles. So far, we have photo stories and interviews covering our Fall Feast festivities, an interview on Native American Heritage Month, and a creative writing story about the Hindu holiday, Diwali. That's just naming a few of our first round of articles.

Please feel free to browse and read this for your enrichment at your leisure.

Check back often to see what else our Falconers put together for you.

As we get ready to wrap up 2021, we thank you for being in this partnership with us!

During this past year, we have experienced more 'FIRSTS' together, as we returned to school in August with Covid policy updates left and right. We have truly worked together to maintain the healthiest and safest environments on campus.

We've reflected on our progress and our goals to ensure we are meeting our student and staff's social/emotional needs before moving on to the academic routines. Working with our mission to support 'the whole child'.

Thank you for entrusting us for another year! Here's to 2022!
