Happy Friday Creekers!
Wow! I am so impressed with our students everyday! They live up to the CREEKERS' Code at school and in the community!
Check out the students below that demonstrated Random Acts of Kindness in the community! Nathaniel, Ryan, Megan, Jason, and Carol are excellent models of CREEKERS' Code! Great job!
Have a great weekend!
Mrs. Adelman
Nathaniel K.
Nathaniel K., a second grader in Mrs Binckley’s class, volunteered on Presidents’ Day with the CB Cares MLK Day event. He sorted food donations, made a Teddy Bear for care packages and wrote inspirational cards. He did it all with a smile!
Great job, Nathaniel!
Ryan A.
Ryan attends the Philadelphia Car Show every year with his dad and noticed a few homeless people last year and was very concerned. He only had granola bars on him that day, so he shared what he had.
This year before Ryan went to the Car Show, he said he wanted to fill a few bags to hand out. Ryan filled bags with hats, scarfs, gloves, snacks, water bottles and he handed them out in the train station. Next year, Ryan plans to be better prepared with more bags and wants to include some with dog treats.
Great job, Ryan!
Megan R.
Megan was a huge help and volunteer for the Kind Like Joey Fundraising effort this month. She volunteered her time, has gone to pickups, helped hand out merchandise, and even modeled our Kind Like Joey apparel for the Facebook page, reminding people to pick up their orders.
We are so proud of her as she continues to help spread kindness and Joey's legacy through her thoughts and actions everyday.
Great job, Megan!
Jason and Carol K.
Jason is always helping family to set the table and clean-up. He is willing to help and do chores such as helping to put the trash cans outside on Sunday night, gathering laundry and taking clean laundry out of the dryer.
Jason and Carol help take care of their 12 month old sister and 19 month old cousin. Carol is extremely helpful with the little ones. She always holding hands and telling them nicely what they are supposed to do and not do. Carol is patient and understanding with babies.
Great job, Jason and Carol!
