The Panther Pride
Pleasant Run Elementary School
January 25, 2019
Dear Pleasant Run Families:
WOW! What an EXCELLENT week our students and staff had. On Tuesday, our K-1 students enjoyed celebrating the 100th day of school. Students participated in several fun activities and even dressed up!
Several of our students had the opportunity to wear jeans throughout the week since they made growth in the area of Reading on their NWEA test. Next week we will recognize our growth in Math. Excellent work!
Some of our students will be bringing home invitations to this year’s Panther Excellence Breakfast, which will be held next Friday, January 1, 2019. Students who have met their RIT goals will be invited to this special breakfast. Be sure to look for an invitation.
Thank you for your continued support of your child and our school - we appreciate you! Please contact me at 317-532-3803 if you have any further questions.

Joining the PTA allows you to meet some great people. PTA functions are opportunities to meet other parents and teachers, to build rapport and discuss issues that are on your mind. You can share ideas, concerns, and experiences to make the school year better for everyone.
The mission of the Pleasant Run Elementary PTA is to act in the interest of the children, to encourage understanding and cooperation between parents and teachers, and to promote programs that benefit the success of children’s learning. The Pleasant Run PTA supports education through active participation and advocacy.
Pleasant Run Elementary has a very active and supportive PTA. We sponsor many fun events throughout the school year. We also provide volunteers for many school events as well as provide support for school programs such as Super Reader, Breakfast with Santa and the annual fund raiser. Please join us for a PTA meeting to see what we’re all about.
