Kids Care Elementary - Week of April 25-29

Principal's Perspective
Hello,
My name is Christopher Sanders and I am excited to be the new principal at Kids Care Elementary. I have been in the field of education for 27 years and I look forward to meeting each of you. I know our school community well and I care deeply about our students, families, and staff.
I received my bachelor’s degree at Kentucky State University and a M.P.A. (Educational Leadership) degree from the University of Michigan. I am also a Michigan State University EMBA program graduate. After struggling in elementary years, I was taken under the wings of a few educators that helped me to see that I had greatness within me. It was then that I finally developed a passion for learning and eventually teaching.
When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my wife of 26 years and our two college age children. I also enjoy reading and staying current with best practices in education and I feel that I will always be a life-long learner.
I work under the philosophy that everything we do in our school should be done with the best interest of our students in mind. Consequently, it is my extension to support every child, every day at KCE and I will bring the energy, enthusiasm, and thoughtfulness needed to continue to make Kids Care Elementary an exemplary school.
I look forward to working with all of our students, families and staff. Please feel free to reach out to me at any time.
All the best,
Principal
