Big picture

Greetings Code Switch Fam'!

First and foremost, we hope this message finds you safe, doing well, and creating new ways to love on and connect with family, friends, and mentees, especially amidst such confusing times. We are also sending love, light, and positive thoughts your way. Remember, we are resilient, so together, we will get through this!

Speaking of getting through - in the interest of health and safety, we have suspended site-based programming and are practicing social distancing. Yet, we remain committed to community, connection, and continuing our healing work through restorative sister circles, and are happy to announce several ways we plan to hold space with one another in the coming weeks - see below. Each is meant to provide Girls and Womxn of Color with time and space to connect, collectively navigate the stress and trauma caused by the changes in our daily lives, share stories of resilience, and shower each other with sisterly love! If this sounds interesting and you are a self-identified Girl (aged 13-19) or woman of color (any age) in need of this space, we invite you to join us for one, a couple, and/or all of our circles!

In the interim, remember to be kind to one another, stay safe, smile much, laugh out loud a lot, and take advantage of the myriad of ways to connect, commune, and engage self-care through collective care with your sisters! But most of all, be hopeful!

Mindful Mondays!

Let's connect through social media! We invite you to join us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Like our page, then drop some words of positivity for our girls!
