Mrs. Becker's News and Notes for the week of Oct. 21, 2019.

More than a school, we are a family.

Sprintin' for Scholars 5k Run or Walk -- Update
The Annual “Sprintin’ for Scholars” 5K, raises funds for athletic equipment and provide the school with funds to develop more athletic programs.
Unfortunately, we had to cancel the St. Anthony Sprintin’ for Scholars 5k due to weather. Instead of rescheduling, we have decided to do a virtual race. A virtual race is a race that can be run or walked from any location you choose. You can run, jog, or walk on the road, on a trail, on the treadmill, at the gym or on a track. You get to run your own race, at your own pace, and time it yourself.
If you haven’t already, pick up your shirt and race bib on Monday, October 21, 2019 between 8:00 am – 4:00 pm at St. Anthony Catholic School. You can run the race at any time before Monday, October 28, 2019. Once you are finished, email kmunoz@saintacs.com with a picture of yourself running or a picture of your watch and your 5k race time. All participants who turn in a picture and race time, will receive a medal.

Trunk or Treat is a family friendly event held on the school field. We fill the field with as many cars as we can and send the kids trick or treating. There will be games, prizes, and food. We are hoping for many decorated trunks again this year to make it a success! We are also asking for donations of bags of individually wrapped candy.
