The CPTO is working hard to provide for the needs of our students. A big "Thank You" to all who helped take down the old playground last Saturday. I know it was a long day but we are now one step closer to gaining a new playground. We are presently working with the company on the specifics and will keep you updated on our progress. Unfortunately like everything else shipping will take a little longer than we first expected. We hope to have an installation date scheduled for over Spring Break.
Trunk or Treat is quickly approaching on Oct. 30 and we are in need of volunteers to decorate their cars and pass out candy! Remember it doesn't have to be an elaborate scene. Just use decorations from around the house or make it a family project to design your theme. Pinterest is a great place to find decorating ideas! If you are unable to supply a car please donate a bag of candy or hot dogs for the light dinner. I believe this will be a fun activity for our students and the parish! Let's work together to make it happen! Details and sign up
What a great way to start off our week! Our student-led Monday Morning Prayer allows us to begin our school week focused on our faith. Join us Monday in the church at 8:20.
5th and 6th graders created their own written language, made tablets out of clay, and carved a message in the tablet using their language. Students then decoded each tablet. This was to study cuneiform from Ancient Mesopotamia in social studies with Mrs. Hill.
A big component of our service learning is that students research and select topics they are interested. Students in Mrs. Lind's class are shown here presenting ideas for consideration by their classmates.
