GROW BUCKS - OUTDOOR CLASSROOM
SPOTTED enjoying the Agastache! Mrs. O’Dell’s classes worked on stations in the garden this week and noticed a new pollinating friend! We’ve had a long list of surprise visitors since bloom season started, including hummingbirds and monarch butterflies. But this is the first time I’ve ever seen a Long-tailed Skipper in person! GROW BUCKS must have something special! One notable feature of this particular skipper is its iridescent blue body. This picture has been edited in order to see that more clearly. #getoutside #outdoorclassroom #soilandwaterconservation via Instagram, https://www.instagram.com/bhsgrow_bucks

Sign Up to Round Up!
The Round Up Program was started by The Schools Foundation and Huntsville Utilities to support local public school systems. The Schools Foundation is a funding partner of Madison County Schools. The more residential and commercial locations that round up, the more funding we can receive. Estimates show that if just half of the residential Huntsville Utilities users rounded up, it would generate approximately $500,000 to support our schools! By rounding up your utility bill to the nearest dollar each month, you help invest in the future of our students!
You can easily sign up to round up online:
https://www.hsvutil.org/community_resources/programs/sign_up_to_round_up.php
It might be a penny, it might be 25 cents, it might be 99 cents, but it will be no more than $11.88 a year. It takes less than 1 minute to fill out.
Thank you for supporting one of our community partners! Go Bucks!
