BECS Families:

Happy February! We are heading into the last week before the Learning Cycle break. This next week is Spirit Week! Please see the flyer in the newsletter and encourage your student(s) to participate. If your student is a remote learner, the Learning Cycle 5 Materials Pickup will be held on February 9 from 4-6:00 p.m.

The next few months will fly by, so please review the newsletter for upcoming events and important information each week. Do not hesitate to contact the main office if you have any questions.

$1 Jeans Day

Friday, February 26th, will be a $1 jean day to help raise money towards Cystic Fibrosis. If your student is in person, please have them remember to wear a uniform top with their jeans and bring their $1 to their classroom teacher. Online students can donate online with the attached link if they choose to participate. Here is the LINK to donate to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Hand Warmers Needed

The weather is chilly, and our fantastic crosswalk/traffic duty staff could use your help; they need hand warmers! You can drop off your donation in the PTO tub, located in our main entrance foyer. You are also welcome to purchase them online via this LINK and have them shipped to us at the address below. Thank you in advance for your generosity!

Monday begins Spirit Week, but it is also the 111th Boy Scouts of America Birthday. We would like to invite Scouts to wear their uniforms on Monday in celebration.

Kinder Cap and Gown

Kinder Cap and Gown photos will take place on Wednesday, February 10th. We encourage you to place your order online, selecting the ship to home option, although you can send in orders on picture day. Visit, enter Picture Day ID: EVTKRPPBF, and order your perfect package!

Spirit Week

We are excited to announce that our next spirit week starts Monday, February 8th; please view our Spirit Week Flyer for details. We are looking forward to seeing our students’ creativity and school spirit!

Valentine Celebrations

This year Valentine’s Day falls on a Sunday. Due to safety restrictions, we will not be able to have traditional Valentine’s celebrations this year. We ask families not to send treats, candy, or Valentine’s cards, but we hope you can enjoy these things safely at home.
