Ultimate Book Challenge
Our Ultimate Book Challenge (UBC) program was a huge success thanks to our dedicated students and fabulous volunteers! The UBC is a reading incentive program designed to improve reading comprehension and enthusiasm for reading using a fun and unique competition format. Our students in grades three - five were challenged to read ten books from May through December. All participating students were divided into teams of six. On Wednesday, December 18th, 26 teams faced off in a "challenge" to test their knowledge of the books.
We are extremely proud of all our Ultimate Book Challenge teams and their accomplishments!

Six Flags Reading Program
We are currently running our Six Flags reading program. Students who complete a minimum of six hours of recreational reading will earn a free ticket to Six Flags. Homework and class assignments do not count so students must read six hours above and beyond what is required by their teacher. Continue reading every night and record the minutes spent reading on the Six Flags reading log form that was sent home. Register your child for the program at sixflags.com/books.
New this year - Six Flags is using eReading logs so parents will need to register your child at sixflags.com/books using the special class code provided to you on the log to indicate your child's class. All reading minutes will need to be submitted to the online portal no later than Wednesday, April 1st. Tickets will be distributed in May. Happy Reading!
