Thank YOU - Community Partners!

We love and are thankful for our community partners! Through our partnerships, we were able to give 75 students a brand new pair of New Balances, supply 27 families with Thanksgiving dinners, supply more than 60 kids with a winter coats, scarves, hats, and gloves, have 40 students sponsored through Angle Tree, and have 50 kids receive holiday gifts!

Thank you Shoes That Fit, Foundry United Methodist Church, Light of Hope United Methodist Church, Out of the Box Ministries, Beach Funeral & Cremation Services Incorporated, Buffalo Soldiers, and Wave Church. We appreciate you all!

Slime Time!

As mentioned in the last newsletter, our students raised over $500 for United Way. They were so excited to get to slime Mrs. Breaux and Mr. Fischi at our November Lions League pep rally!

Amazing Race

Thank you to all the families who came out for the Amazing Race in November! It was a BLAST! Students were able to race around the building while teaching their families about the GRRR code. At the end of the night, students discussed how they could be respectful, responsible, and ready to learn at home!

Drills and Safe School Protocols

Throughout the school year, we practice a variety of drills to assist students and staff with planning for emergencies. In the coming weeks, we may conduct a drill at arrival or dismissal. We wanted to be transparent, so you aren't alarmed should this happen. Thank you for all you do every day to support Lynnhaven Elementary!

Check out what our students are learning in Quarter 2!
