January Updates

Welcome back!

It is a new semester, which means you have the chance to continue challenging yourself and have a fresh start. Throughout the rest of the year, we will host a variety of seminars. In January we will focus specifically on registration for the 2016-2017 school year.


In the next couple weeks we will host a panel discussion led by seniors regarding registration for the upcoming school year. Check your email for details. Students will meet in room D19 during GPS on the following dates:

*Current Freshmen: Monday, January 11

*Current Sophomores: Tuesday, January 12

*Current Juniors: Tuesday, January 19

Nebraska Association for Gifted (NAG) Scholarships

NAG offers a variety of scholarships for a range of ages. The Leta Hollingworth Scholarship is open to high school seniors, a K-11 summer opportunity scholarship, and educator scholarships. Click this button for details.

Extra Curricular Activities and Academic Competitions

As a high-ability learner, you likely have several interests and strengths to explore and hone. Academic competitions and extra curricular activities are facilitated by a variety of teachers throughout the building.
