PRIDE OF THE TRIBE
SHS STAFF - Week of August 17, 2020
I have been very impressed with the amount of work you have put into creating your Canvas courses. The level of rigor, creativity, and collaboration is exciting to see! I am so thankful Dr. Hunter provided you this time to prepare. I definitely think it was worth it! Don't let up. We have one week to put the final preparations on a great start to the year. I cannot wait to get kids back into our building. It will look different but in no way feel different. We will celebrate being back together again and make the best of our new world!
Thank you for fighting for our kids. Thank you for being the best teachers and colleagues a principal could ever ask for! #grateful

Nuts and Bolts
- SpEd Students - We have made the decision that these students, both F2F and Online, will use Canvas courses in all subjects. This means you will be responsible for teaching those students with the support of our inclusion teachers and paras.
- We are working on giving paras access to Canvas so you can share your courses with them. This will allow them to help with modifications, etc.
Notes and Assignments need to be Typed or PDF so that Canvas can read to them.
Reducing an answer choice is NOT an accommodation.

I LEAVE YOU WITH THIS...
"I can't predict the future of COVID. But, I can predict a few other things."
- I predict students will need more connections with teachers than ever before.
- I predict faculties that are collaborative will continue to thrive.
- I predict teachers will still find ways to inspire.
