Dear KRS Families,
This week was quite eventful! We began the week with a
Box Out Bullying assembly and Thursday there were 2 fantastic performances of Winnie the Pooh. Congratulations to the musical student performers and the directors Ms. Montagna and Ms. McManus!
Next week, is our KRS Reading Night and Art Show on April 18, 2023. The Art Show begins at 6:00 PM and the Reading Night at 6:30 PM. We are looking forward to seeing you all there! We will also be celebrating Green Week with activities all week beginning on April 17th.

Seeking Nominations for Teacher of the Year and Educational Services Professional of the Year

Teacher of the Year
and
Educational Services Professional of the Year
Do you know a classroom teacher or educational services professional who is dedicated, inspiring, and making a difference? If so, please take the time to submit a nomination for each recognition. You may nominate a classroom teacher and an educational services professional. Staff members and parents are encouraged to participate.
Please submit this form by April 17, 2023.
Educators of the year will be announced on May 5, 2023.
Each candidate will be scored based on the criteria below:
-Serves as an exceptionally skilled and dedicated educator or services professional.
-Inspires students of all backgrounds and abilities to learn.
-Demonstrates leadership and innovation in and outside the classroom.
-Has the respect and admiration of students, parents, administrators and colleagues.
-Plays an active role in the community as well as the school.

The days are as follows:

Box Out Bullying - Thank you to the KRS PTO for funding this great assembly!
KRS Reading Night - April 18, 2023 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM
All KRS families are invited to attend the KRS Reading Night on April 18, 2023 from 6:30 - 7:30.
The KRS Art Show will also be held that evening beginning at 6 PM.

Fifth Grade Families - Save the date!
