In honor of Mexico's Independence Day, Scholars will be encouraged to wear their Hispanic Cultural Attire to School on Friday, September 16.

Arrival: All scholars should arrive by 7:45 a.m.

Breakfast: The cafeteria closes at 7:45 a.m. Scholars who would like to receive breakfast need to arrive at school and enter the cafeteria by 7:45 a.m.

Dismissal: All scholars should be picked up by 3:30 p.m. Parents, due to safety concerns, we ask that you please refrain from being on your phone in the School Zone. This is a safety hazard and as a campus, we want to prevent any accidents.

Friday Jean Day: As an incentive for parents who join PTA, we allow their children to wear jeans on Friday. Please ensure that the jeans are not ripped or have holes in them. We will call parents if there are scholars who wear jeans that are ripped or have holes in them.

Thank you parents for your support. We need to ensure that in the morning our teachers begin instruction on time and in the afternoon begin clubs, organizations, tutoring, and meetings on time.

School Spirit

Wednesday: House Shirts (New Shirts will be placed for sale in late September)

Friday: School Spirit shirt or College shirt. If you previously ordered a spirit shirt, these shirts will be delivered soon.

Llegada: Todos los alumnos deben llegar a las 7:45 a.m.

Winnetka Basketball Tryouts!

Calling all 3rd - 5th grade students interested in trying out for the Winnetka Basketball Team!

Tryouts: September 12 for girls and September 13 for boys from 3:30 - 4:30 in the gym.

Winnetka scholars will be invited to create Dia de los Muertos Altar in Honor of Loved ones. These altars will be on display at Mountain View College from October 26-November 2nd. The Festival with music, food, and events will take place on November 2nd.
