Keeping with our theme of student relationships, I found an article I thought you might find some gems in if you're having a hard time building relationships with your students.

Ultimately, it comes down to getting to know your kids and figuring out what makes them want to work. A kid who's having a hard day mentally (for reasons completely out of our, and sometimes their, control) won't be the best learner that day. Get to know them, identify the issue that's preventing the learning, and intervene socially to help them have a positive learning experience.
Keep up the good work!
Have a great day!
