Learning from Home Volume 7
Growing as readers, writers and thinkers from home! Volume 7
Welcome back and Happy Monday!
We hope that you all had a relaxing weekend. Today we have some great treats for you! A few announcements.... Time for Kids is offering a free subscription while we are learning from home. We also have a writing lesson from poet Nikki Grimes. She shares 2 of her poems about Pineapple Upside down Cake. Author and illustrator Grace Lin teaches us how to draw a Chinese dragon and we have 2 short films; one about why boredom is good for you and another called "Story of Flowers". Thanks to our good friend, third grade teacher Stephanie Davis, we have a new podcast to share called Kid Nuz (News)! Check it out for a quick daily newscast just for kids!
