ECF FORMS (GRADES 2-5 ONLY) FOR THE 1:1 TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM:
Our District is excited to be participating in an important technology program called the Emergency Connectivity Fund (ECF). This program will provide Valhalla students with additional Chromebooks so that all students have access to a personal device. This device can be used at school, plus also be taken home whenever it is needed.
If a student in grades 2-5 does not have regular access to a computer at home whenever they need it to complete homework or school work, signing this form will allow us to receive a school owned device for that student to use.
Dear parents of 2-5th graders,
Please sign and date the pink paper that came home in your student's backpack today! This is a NEED-based grant, not an income-based grant. All parents who complete the agreement will be included in the grant which will improve technology access and provide additional devices for our students to use! The funds do not come out of Valhalla's nor MDUSD's budget so please participate!
The forms went home today, Monday. Please have all forms returned by Wednesday, 10-27.
Thank you!
We have extra copies in the office. We will reach out to every single family starting Wednesday that did not turn in the form. I will do a robocall today!
Our goal is 100% participation. Any ?s see me, Miss Pappas!
